Volunteers have been giving up their Sunday mornings to spruce up a beauty spot.
The Friends of Hollingbury and Burstead Wood meet on a monthly basis to keep two woods in north Brighton in tip-top condition.
The group, which numbers around 18 enthusiastic volunteers, will be tidying plants behind Pioneer House in Burstead Close, clearing away growth from the butterfly glade and repairing paths at their next monthly meet.
Interested volunteers can meet up with the group outside the old flint barn at the western entrance of Roedale allotments off Ditchling Road at 10am on Sunday, March 1 or meet at the clean-up site at about 10.30am.
