Adding to Trevor Bolton’s letter, February 16, as London’s affordable house building needs take a hold along the South Coast London-on-Sea, then Brighton and Hove train stations both feeding the one-up one-down Southern-end of the Brighton Line suggests there will have to be fewer stopping trains at Preston Park station as the need for more train services onto the Brighton line from Brighton and Hove stations etc become inevitable.
Hence a growing need for a second Brighton main line, even a London fast underground extension to include Gatwick Airport?
