CONGRATULATIONS to Sussex duo Royal Blood for their success at the Brit Awards.
Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher, from Worthing and Rustington, formed the band in Brighton and Hove.
What they have achieved so early on in their careers is admirable and there is no doubt there is much more to come from the talented rockers.
Royal Blood’s award success is further proof that Brighton and Hove is a hotbed of musical and artistic talent.
James Bay, a former student at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM), also tasted success at the Brits when he was crowned with the prestigious Critics' Choice Award.
Organisations like BIMM and other music schools and academies across the region are doing fine work in nurturing stars of the future.
