A multi-million out of town development has received a double boost.
Developers have announced that two new stores at Lyons Farm, off the Upper Brighton Road, Worthing, have now been let.
One will house Argos catalogue shop and the other Pets At Home.
The total cost of the scheme, expected to be finished on February 20, is £8.75 million.
It was constructed by Red Square Developments despite fears that it would attract shoppers from the town centre.
Other stores on the Lyons Farm site include Sainsbury's, Boots, Currys and Brantano.
Argos and Pets At Home were built on the former site of a petrol station and Fiat car showroom.
Bob Miller, of letting agents Tod Miller Thomas said: "Despite the uncertain retailing climate the Lyons Farm retailing area of Worthing continues to be recognised as a prime out-of-town location.
"The outstanding design and quality of this scheme have been instrumental in creating a successful development."
