THERE were traffic delays in Brighton city centre this morning after a two car crash.
The road was closed between the New Road junction and the A23 St James’s Street junction.
The accident caused delays and diversions to bus services.
Brighton and Hove Buses was initially unable to stop at the northbound St Peter’s stop and urged customers to board services in London Road but have now said the bus lane is open in both directions.
Meanwhile the number 7s and 25s are able to serve Old Steine – stop H – and North Street as normal.
Other westbound services are being diverted via the seafront and West Street until 4pm. Passengers should board from stop Z at Old Steine.
The road is now clear.
