GOOD luck to Albion chairman Tony Bloom, who is taking on the Brighton Marathon for the second time for a charity which supports people with multiple sclerosis.

He has personal reasons for this as Overcoming MS is a charity set up by his wife Linda, who was diagnosed with the condition about 12 years ago.

She has adopted an approach which focuses on diet, exercise and relaxation techniques which has meant she has not experienced symptoms for several years and is otherwise fit and well.

Taking on a marathon is a gruelling challenge, but the more money and awareness that is raised for the charity will mean more people can be helped and supported as they learn to cope with the disease.

More than 100,000 people in the UK have MS so it is vital the charity gets as much funding as possible to continue its important work.
