A BIKER was taken to hospital with a broken rib, chest and knee injuries after crashing with a car.
A purple Triumph motorbike travelling east collided with a red Alfa Romeo travelling west in Upper Shoreham Road, Shoreham, shortly before 5pm on February 17.
The 63-year-old man on the motorbike, from Shoreham, suffered a broken rib and injuries to his chest and knee and was taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment. The 38-year-old woman in the Alfa Romeo, from Lancing, was not injured.
Police issued an appeal for witnesses yesterday and PC Ben Henwood urged anyone who saw the vehicles being driven in the moments before the crash to call 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting 1025 of February 17.
