TRAINS are at a standstill after a person trespassed on the track.
Southern Railway initially said services were at a standstill at Three Bridges because someone had been hit by a train, but later corrected this and said there had been a trespass incident.
A spokesman said an update on services would be announced as soon as possible.
Passengers faced delays and cancellations this morning.
Services running between Purley and East Croydon were affected by emergency engineering works and safety checks were also being carried out between Gatwick Airport and East Croydon delaying services by up to 15 minutes.
There were reports of a power supply fault early this morning which was later rectified.
