Surrounded by the beautiful Sussex countryside, Uckfield Civic Centre has been open since 1991.
A suite of five various-sized rooms is available for hire, individually or as a whole, seven days a week. They are suitable for all types of functions or events such as breakfast meetings, celebration parties, weddings, exhibitions, presentations, conferences or club and society meetings.
The Weald Hall is an extremely well-equipped venue with excellent stage, sound and lighting facilities. There is also a range of audio-visual equipment available to hire for events and functions, including a digital (powerpoint) projector, OHPs, TV/videos, flipcharts and a portable hearing loop.
Luxfords Restaurant is a delightful feature of the centre.
It was taken over by the council in 1996 and has grown into a successful business.
Not only is Luxfords a popular restaurant, it also caters for the five conference and function suites.
The centre is 19 miles from Eastbourne, ten miles from Lewes,18 miles from Brighton and 16 miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells, and is served well by road and rail links, with ample free parking nearby.
