BUDDING rock stars were given a music lesson with a difference by a seasoned professional.
Students of Lewes Old Grammar School were treated to a visit from former Squeeze frontman Chris Difford.
He dropped in last week to lead a class with the students on the ways of songwriting and how to get ahead in the music business.
Now living in Firle, having previously resided in Rye, Difford moved to Sussex after playing his part with the band best-known for Cool For Cats.
As the co-songwriter and guitarist in Squeeze he was also behind songs such as Up The Junction and Tempted.
Other notable members of Squeeze were Glenn Tilbrook and Jools Holland.
