A protest against the government's plans to tighten security is being held today.
Members of campaign group No2ID's Brighton and Hove branch will assemble in Churchill Square, Brighton between 5pm and 7pm.
The event, which will include speakers and music, has been organised to highlight plans by the Identity and Passport Service (IPS) to require applicants to attend face-to-face interviews before being issued with a passport.
