A DOUBLE-DECKER bus has been wrapped in new seaside visuals to support the largest free charity beach festival in the world.

Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company, in partnership with Paddle Round The Pier, launched the eye-catching bus yesterday.

The Paddle Bus is the result of co-operation between the event and the bus company, which also sponsors the Access Beach each year.

Brighton based sign company, PrintBigStuff.com produced and fitted all the graphics for free.

Paddle director David Samuel said: “This feels like Paddle has finally come of age.

“We are extremely grateful to the bus company to have allowed us to dress this bus up.

“The design seems to put a smile on the face of everyone who sees it, and that’s just what the event is all about.”

He hopes people will use social media to share pictures of the bus.

Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company will sponsor Paddle’s Access Beach for the second year in a row.

With Paddle on July 4 and 5, Access Beach lets disabled children and their carers try water sport activities.

Brighton and Hove Buses is keen to promote the accessibility of its fleet and talk to disabled groups.

Managing director Martin Harris said: “We are delighted to once again support this terrific community event, which has a strong focus on inclusion and accessibility.”
