The predictions for the election by Adam Trimingham, pictured above, were very insightful.

I agree that Simon Kirby will win in Kemptown. He has rightly earned a reputation as an excellent constituency MP.

I have been impressed by his campaign for the new hospital, which is good news for the city.

I also agree that Caroline Lucas will hold on in Brighton Pavilion.

I think people underestimate the support for the Greens that still exists in many places.

I think Labour are in a tough place. Now they support austerity and back spending cuts they are no longer really offering an alternative to the current government, which I think will help out the Green Party at the polls.

But all the time Ed Balls and Ed Miliband won’t apologise for the mistakes they made with the economy last time, they don’t have any credibility with people who are unsure between the Labour and Conservative Parties.
