Please help the food banks
I agree with Alison Moir (Letters, April 1), it is shameful to waste food.
Last month I noticed that a ‘stationer’ in Churchill Square, Brighton, were throwing away sandwiches with half a day trading to go. Given that there are a number of food banks in Sussex, throwing away food is shameful.
I intend to boycott such retailers until they change their policy.
