A MAN was left with serious facial injuries following an assault at a night club.

The man in his 20s was in Club XS in Prospect Place, Hastings, when he was attacked at 3am.

He needed hospital treatment for the attack on Saturday, March 14, which police only appealed for details about today.

A 25-year-old man from St Leonards was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray.

He was questioned and bailed until Saturday, May 16, while enquiries continue.

A second man local to the Hastings area is wanted in connection with the assault.
