Once again I welcome the opportunity to sing the praises of our NHS here in Brighton and Haywards Heath.
With all the bad press our GPs and the hospital staff get I would like to redress the situation.
I have a surgery that is efficient, caring, and where one can get an appointment in a reasonable time.
I won’t mention anyone by name as the whole team - from the GPs, nurses and auxiliary staff both at the surgery and the Royal Sussex County Hospital - deserve recognition.
I am grateful for the care, expertise and devotion that was shown to me by the haematology and the cardiac wards which was second to none.
After seeing how hard these guys have to work it is up to all of us not to give them any unnecessary extra work.
We should all be proud of our NHS especially here in Brighton.
