A WOMAN ended up in the water of a harbour last night.
The Coastguard was called by a member of the public at 10.15pm and a lifeboat headed to the quayside of Parker Steel in Basin Road South, Shoreham Harbour.
Shoreham Coastguard helped the distressed 54-year-old and, after some convincing by a lifeboat crew, was taken to the nearby Lady B Marina.
She was met by police and ambulance staff and, suffering from hypothermia, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
