TWO motorcyclists were hospitalised in separate crashes this morning.
The first one happened at about 8.10am in Virginia Gardens in Felpham near Bognor.
The Honda biker collided with a car near the junction of the A259 Flansham Lane.
The rider of the motorcycle, in his 20s, was thrown from his machine and suffered potentially serious pelvic injuries.
Ambulance staff found him fully conscious.
He had a face injury and abdomen pain and was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester for treatment.
The road was partially blocked but the scene was cleared within two hours.
Two hours later, another motorcyclist crashed with a car on the A27 eastbound at the Crossbush junction near Arundel.
Road blocks were put in place and a diversion set up via the A284 Lyminster Road.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with what are thought to be serious but not life-threatening injuries.
