NEARLY 100 cannabis plants which could have fetched up to £60,000 in street value were found growing in a house.
Police raided the property in High Bank Close, Hastings, on Tuesday, [12/5] seizing the plants which had not yet reached maturity. The plants and growing equipment have now been destroyed.
Inspector Dan Russell, of the Hastings neighbourhood policing team, said: "Once again we have taken steps to disrupt the drugs trade in this town. No one was arrested at the time but enquiries are continuing to trace the person or people responsible."
