A man who was offering to supply cannabis has been given a community order.
Bradley Murphy, of Hay Road, Chichester, pleaded guilty to offering to supply cannabis between October 2012 and August 2014 when he appeared at Worthing Magistrates' Court on May 12.
The 19-year-old was arrested when police officers carried out a drugs warrant at his home in November. During the search they found cannabis and associated drug paraphernalia in the garden shed and a large quantity of expensive clothing and trainers in his bedroom.
Murphy was given a one-year community order which carrying out unpaid work for 120 hours and being under a night time curfew on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for 12 weeks. He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs.
PC Tom Van-der-Wee said: "We are working to stop the supply of drugs in the Chichester district. If anyone wants to report drug dealing or has any information please contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
