Four fire engines were called to a house fire late last night.
The crews from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended the blaze in Firtoft Close, Burgess Hill, just after 9.20pm yesterday evening.
There were reports of people in the property but all the occupants were accounted for when the fire service arrived.
Six firefighters in breathing gear helped to tackle the blaze and the fire was brought under control by 10.26pm.
The fire service have now launched an investigation to establish the cause of the fire.
