CELEBRITY chef Paul Rankin cooked up a storm when he visited a school to cook for students.
The star, well-known for his regular appearances on BBC’s Ready Steady Cook and Masterchef, worked in the kitchen of Hurstpierpoint College for a day and served lunch to pupils and staff.
He created a range of salads and dips as part of the healthy lunch and set up a smoothie bar for the prep school children.
Year 3 were also given a special cooking masterclass where the chef showed how to make quesadillas and a Mexican salsa.
The visit was arranged by the school’s catering company Sodexo.
A Sodexo spokesman said: “We take our focus on health and well-being into the classroom and use our relationships with high profile chefs such as Paul Rankin to engage with pupils to make learning about health and well-being fun.”
