Fort gets a starring role
THE vast echoing tunnels of Newhaven Fort promise to provide quite an experience as the story of Beowulf is given a modern twist.
Production Arts, TV and Film Media Production and Performing Arts students from Sussex Downs College and Lewes Youth Theatre (LYT) have recreated the legend of Beowulf for a fantasy film and live, interactive experience.
The story will be retold in a one-off screening of the film featuring fire, gore and mystical creatures.
The 12A rated film and show is on Friday, June 5 at 7pm.
