The next generation of artists, photographers and designers are exhibiting their work in an end of year show.

The A-Level students from Varndean Sixth Form College in Brighton will be displaying their creations as part of the special show.

It will include work from all five visual arts courses run by the college – fine art, photography, graphic design, 3D design and textiles.

Judged by Ofsted as “outstanding”, “innovative” and “exemplary”, the college’s visual arts department supports the work of more than 200 students from Brighton and Hove and further afield.

Rob Macdonald, head of the department, said: “This exhibition is a celebration of all the creativity and passion our students bring to their visual art.

“Every year I am impressed by the variety and personality I see in the show. Art and design is a crucial part of education for jobs in the creative industries and this is an exciting time of year where my team and I send the next generation of creative talent out into the world.”

The exhibition will be open to the public from Monday, June 8, until Wednesday, June 10, during normal college hours, 9am-4pm, at the campus in Surrenden Road, Brighton.
