Drinkers banned from pubs and clubs in either Uckfield or Crowborough will have their details shared between the towns' respective Pubwatch schemes.
Richard Culderbank, owner of the Broadway nightclub in Uckfield, and Pete Randall, landlord of the Wheatsheaf pub in Crowborough, head up Pubwatch in each of the towns.
The pair have agreed to share relevant information in a bid to make the district a safer place to drink.
Licensees who are members of the Pubwatch scheme decide on a common standard of behaviour that is expected from people using their premises.
Anyone who falls short is discussed at regular local meetings and a course of action is agreed between the members - including warning letters and bans from premises.
PC Martin Theelke, Wealden Licensing Officer, said: "This is an extremely positive development and one that has my total support.
"Sharing information about people who have been banned will contribute a great deal to keeping members of the public safe.
" The message is clear - if you want to drink and socialise in Wealden, do so responsibly and safely, or you could find yourself barred from pubs right across the district."
