THREE men attacked a newsagent worker and stole bottles of wine and cash from the till early this morning.
Police we were called at 5.25am to a report of a robbery at Macfarlane's newsagents in Southwick Square, Southwick.
The shop worker suffered bruising to his back and arm.
Officers are in the area searching for the offenders and speaking to witnesses.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is currently being questioned on suspicion of robbery.
