FRIENDS have raised concerns about a missing university student.
University of Brighton student Diogo Manuel Martins-Alves-Moreira has not been seen since last Tuesday and police have now launched an appeal for information.
The 29-year-old Portuguese national was last seen in the early hours of Tuesday morning leaving a friend's house near to Brighton railway station.
Police describe him as of average build with short dark hair and brown eyes who speaks with a Portuguese accent and is believed to have been wearing jeans when he was last seen.
Sergeant Alvin Lee said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Diogo as this is totally out of character for him.
"He has left all of his belongings, including his wallet with all its contents, and has not turned up for work this week.”
Anyone with information should email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 857 of July 16 or call 101.
