A night aimed at sussed, seasoned clubbers, fluorescent-clad nu-indie ravers, scene-alienated gay kids, balloon-puffing, all-age hedonists and chin-stroking, record-rack searching nerds returns tonight.

Dirty Weekend mixes new exciting dancefloor music with a desire "to have a good time all the time".

Helping this dream along is main room resident DJ IDC, who has been described by International DJ as "the future king of electronic rock 'n' roll".

The Brighton-based DJ has played at Bestival and Barcelona's Summercase festival, as well as performing at Turnmills and Nottingham's Stealth, and having residencies in Barcelona and Madrid.

His latest single Stomp was described by DJ Magazine as sounding like "a washing machine on crack" and he has also done remix work for the likes of Radio 4, S***disco, The Streets and Client.

Backing him up will be the Sonic Surgeons, who will be mixing ambient atmospheres, nu-noize, classical creations and vivid visuals to create an electronic, experimental environment.

And The Crack Daddies, also known as Mulholland and Green, will be spinning eyelinerrockelectroravesex from the past and into the future.

This month's Dirty Weekend is also doubling up as the official after party for The Sunshine Underground after they play their sold-out gig at Concorde 2.

Jenny from the Dirty Weekend crew says: "It will be a good place for anyone who has been to the gig to hang out, get in for a fiver with a Sunshine Underground T-shirt or gig ticket stub, enjoy like-minded music and maybe get the chance to have a beer with the band or something."
