A PARTIALLY-SIGHTED man was pushed and punched in the head in the middle of the day after getting off a bus in a busy street.
The 51-year-old victim had just got off the number 1 bus outside the Sony shop in Western Road, Brighton, when he was attacked by a suspect who then ran off towards the seafront.
Police issued a statement saying the assault happened last Friday at 12.20pm and are appealing for witnesses.
PC James Breeds said: "The victim is partially sighted so he could not see the suspect but he is believed to be a man.
"Fortunately he did not suffer any physical injuries but he now feels vulnerable when he is out.
"We would like to speak to anyone who saw the attack, particularly a member of the public believed to be called Dean who helped the victim."
