M23 closure by Gatwick Airport after crash
ONE lane of the M23 northbound is currently closed at junction 9 after a crash.
Another lane on the A27 Shoreham By-Pass westbound is blocked at Sussex Pad traffic lights because of another accident.
It follows a crash near Falmer on the road earlier this morning.
Two fire crews from Preston Circus and Lewes were called to the incident shortly before 9am. On arrival firefighters found no-one was trapped and worked to make the area safe.
Update: 12.53pm The roads are now clear
