SUSSEX’S tallest building is now a lifesaver after a charitable donation.
The Sussex Heart Charity and Hove Business Association has donated a defibrillator to the Brighton i360 to help save lives on the seafront.
The defibrillator can be operated by members of the public in an emergency by following simple instructions attached with the device.
There will also be trained staff at the i360 and surrounding businesses have been encouraged to come along for a demonstration by the Sussex Heart Charity for additional support.
In another week of developments for the 162 metre tall tourism attraction, work to remove the jacking tower was started to reveal more clearly how it will look when it opens next summer.
The removal will continue on Sunday because high winds have delayed the process and the construction team are keen to carry on with groundworks and restore the beach around the i360’s base.
