A woman in her 80s was taken to hospital with head injuries after her mobility scooter crashed into a lorry.
An air ambulance attended the scene but the woman was taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester by road, with minor injuries to her head and ankle.
The incident happened at 10.30am today (Thursday) outside the Crown Inn pub in High Street, Selsey.
The road was closed for two hours after the crash.
Witnesses are asked to contact Sussex Police by phoning 101 and quoting serial 393 of 15/10.
