A burglar who was on the run from police for over two months is in custody after handing himself in.
Glyn Evans, 27, stood accused of committing a burglary in Hastings when he failed to answer bail on August 27.
While he remained a wanted man through the autumn, the police warned members of the public not to approach him but to call 999 immediately if they saw him.
He handed himself in to Hastings Police on Monday (November 2) and yesterday pleaded guilty to failing to answer bail, and to burglary, at Brighton Magistrates Court.
Evans, of Granville Avenue in Hounslow, Middlesex, burgled a property in Pine Avenue, Hastings on March 25 of this year.
He is currently in custody for fourteen days for failure to answer bail, and will be sentenced for the original burglary offence on December 1 at Lewes Crown Court.
