COMMUTERS have had minutes shaved off their journey to work with the opening of a new staircase and lift.
Hyde New Homes is behind the walkway linking Fleet Street and Stroudley Road, Brighton, near to the train station.
The development is part of a new public square linking the station.
It has been funded by Hyde New Homes through a Section 106 agreement with Brighton and Hove City Council attached to a housing development.
The new stairs and lift have helped shave minutes off commuters' journeys and those accessing the train station.
