Care home assistant in court accused of taking part in sexual activity with a resident
A CARE home assistant has appeared in court accused of taking part in sexual activity with a resident.
Dorin Brancovan, 33, of Bishopric Court, Horsham, appeared in custody at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with the allegations at the Sussex Health Care home for young adults in Guildford Road, Clemsfold, in the early hours of Monday.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on December 22.
The case is being investigated by West Sussex safeguarding detectives and West Sussex County Council safeguarding and adult care staff.
