Police officers on Shoreham beach this morning
A dog walker discovered the body of a man on a Sussex beach.
Sussex Police were alerted at 8.10am following the find by a member of the public.
Coastguard rescue officers were also sent to Shoreham Beach along with paramedics.
A Sussex Police spoksman said: “At 8.10am on Friday (December 4) the body of a man was found by dog walkers at the water’s edge on Shoreham beach near The Burrells.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and the circumstances are being investigated.”
