Dramatic footage has been released of two crew members being airlifted to safety from a sinking cargo vessel.
The EMS Majestic, which had seven crew on board, began taking in water on Sunday evening while 13 miles (21km) south east of Eastbourne, East Sussex.
Coastguard rescue helicopters based at Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire, and Lydd, Kent, were scrambled to assist and airlifted two crew members to safety.
The video footage shows the two crew members being lifted to safety in heavy seas.
The Antigua and Barbuda-registered ship was then towed by the tug Thor Frigg to Southampton, where it docked safely on Monday.
