Whoever thought two little thin sticks could create such uproar?
Percussion players Adam Bushell and Tom Norrell used the vibraphone and marimba with such energy and concentration, they transformed Brighton's community centre into a room filled with mystic sounds which vibrated off the walls like butterfly wings.
Their tightly composed pieces were too long but they were enchanting and would fit the soundtrack of a magical fairytale.
The duo's alternative music may not be popular with a mainstream audience, as it's more spiritual than booty-shaking, and, in that respect, it's very Brighton.
Bushell and Norrell interpret music in a totally unique style - imaginative like nothing I have seen before - and doubt I will ever see again.
