Thank you for publishing the case for the Hastings and Bexhill link road (The Argus, May 18).
We hope many more readers will now understand why this vital project will help regenerate this area of East Sussex.
Incidentally, the picture caption referred to me as "Councillor" Bob Wilkins. In fact, as director of transport and environment at East Sussex County Council, I am not an elected councillor but an officer.
However, I am confident that my views would be shared by the vast majority of county coucillors.
