Icy roads are causing more problems for commuters as a car is reported to have left the road on a busy route.
The vehicle came off the road near Ditchling Beacon.
A van driver said he had driven up the steep hill and had witnessed ice on both sides of the road.
He added that a police car and an ambulance was at the scene but that traffic could pass.
A Sussex Police spokesman said there was nothing to suggest the road was icy but that a woman in her 20s was treated by paramedics for neck pain.
She was driving a Nissan Micra.
