TWO radio hosts are at loggerheads to get their candidate voted the best looking man in Sussex.

Juice FM’s breakfast host Hanna Neter and Drive’s Guy Lloyd are leading campaigns to get their respective entries crowned winner of The Argus’s most attractive person competition.

Hanna is trying to rake in votes for her husband Richard Campbell, 31.

She said: “He’s not very modest in any way and he’s got a great face. He’s good looking, but he knows it.

“Even before the competition he'd call me downstairs to look at his face because he’s having 'a good looking day'.

“I’d be massively proud of him if he did win and he is a really nice person. It’s not often you get the two, so I’m a bit lucky.”

Hanna will be joined on the breakfast show by her husband on Saturday and will come face to face with Guy Lloyd and his candidate Phil Lucas.

Guy said: “I’m definitely Team Lucas – he’s a really attractive man and a good friend,

“He’s got lots of attractive qualities and he’s a great comedian – he’s even sexier on stage.

“He’s got an oven glove made of scampi, so if he wins we should pose him up in a photo with just him and the oven glove.

“He’s actually taking it really seriously and has spent money on it getting graphic designers to come up with flyers and pamphlets.

“I was a bit disappointed with a lot of the entries, so I was looking for an underdog to support and found out Phil was doing it – so I jumped on that.”

There is one award already nailed down according to Hanna, who said Brighton and Hove is the best looking place on earth.

She said: “I think Brighton and Hove is a beautiful city and there’s a lot of beautiful people.

“It’s definitely the hottest place in the world.”

On the other side of the coin, it’s not looking great for one of Sussex’s neighbouring counties when The Argus pressed the radio host for the ugliest place in the world.

“I went to university in Kent, and that’s pretty grim,” Hanna said.

“I’d have to say Margate is the ugliest place in the world– I can’t remember too many hot people in Margate.

“It’s a really interesting competition and I can’t wait to see who wins.”

Voting closes at 11.59pm on Monday. Visit theargus.co.uk/attractive2015.
