A MISSING man whose body was discovered in a pond has been identified.
Bert Coleman, of Sutton Drove, Seaford, had been reported missing to Sussex Police and officers began a search for the 95-year-old last Sunday (January 31).
A search team located the body of a man in the Blatchington Pond on the corner of Blatchington Road and Sutton Drove.
The body has been recovered with the assistance of East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
The body recovered has now been identified as Mr Coleman.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said his death is not being treated as suspicious.
