The crash happened on the A259 near the Exceat Bridge between Eastbourne and Seaford
A CRASH between a car and a motorbike closed a coast road.
The A259 was closed west of the Exceat Bridge between Eastbourne and Seaford while emergency services dealt with the collision between a Nissan car and a motorcycle.
It happened shortly before 8.45am but the road is now open.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek diversions while the road was closed.
A Secamb spokeswoman said: "The patient was a 26-year-old woman whose motorbike lost control and went under a stationery car with the patient.
"She complained about knee, ankle and spinal pains and was treated and immobilised by paramedics before being taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
