Detectives have released pictures of three men they want to speak to in connection with serious incidents in Sussex.

The men are wanted in connection with drugs offences, a distraction burglary and an incident where a girl was pushed onto a railway line.

Pictures of the men feature on the Crimestoppers website.

Crimestoppers is an independent UK-wide charity working to stop crime.

It features unsolved crimes across the country. Currently on its homepage is a large picture of missing four-year-old Madeleine McCann.

Among those on its website from Sussex is William Cook, also known as Bryan Voles.

He is believed to live in a flat in Hastings and police want to speak to him in relation to a distraction burglary in Hastings.

The posting on the website states: "The subject presents a distraction burglary/robbery threat with the concern that violence may be used against elderly female victims leading to serious injury.

"A variety of excuses may be employed to gain entry to properties and offences appear to be committed during the daytime period."

The most recent offence is said to have happened on April 15 this year.

Cook is said to be aged between 65 and 70, approximately 5ft 10in tall and is of medium build.

He has a scar on the left side of his neck. He also has three tattoos. On both his elbows he has 'Bend me' and on his right arm he has the names Bill and Jan tattooed.

Also on the site is a picture of a man police want to speak to in connection with an incident where a girl was pushed onto railway tracks in Portslade.

The incident happened on November 11 last year at around 10.50pm, as reported in The Argus at the time.

The posting on the Crimestoppers website says: "A girl was standing with two friends near the entrance to the platform at Portslade railway station when they saw a group walking along the tracks into the station.

"The victim and her friends had tried to advise the group that what they were doing was dangerous and that a train would be coming soon.

"It is alleged that a male from the group came onto the platform having taken exception to this advice, following which a verbal then physical altercation took place resulting in the victim being pushed onto the tracks."

The man police want to speak to is aged between 20 and 25, about 5ft 6in tall and of medium build.

The third man featuring on the Crimestoppers website from Sussex is Anton Duchesne.

Officers want to speak to him in connection with large scale drug supply.

He is aged between 30 and 35, is about 5ft 8in tall and is of stocky build. He has brown hair and sometimes grows a beard. Police say he often has a mohican haircut.
