A MAN jumped over the counter of a bookmakers and punched a staff member before demanding money.
He made off with £400 from the till of the William Hill bookmakers in North Road, Lancing, at 11am on Thursday.
The suspect went north along North Road and then along Culver Road. No weapons were seen.
Police have released this CCTV picture of him. He is white, aged in his 30s, between 5ft 11in and 6ft and was wearing a grey jacket with the hood up.
Detective Sergeant Simon Dunn said: "This was a frightening ordeal for the staff member. We want to hear from anyone who saw this robbery or has any information. We are offering £500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible."
