BIKERS gathered to remember a friend and launch a fundraising auction in his memory.
Members of the 1066 Harley Owners Group gathered at Shoreham Art Gallery to launch the auction of a portrait in pastel by artist Wendy Standen of Wadey the dog. The pooch was named in memory of Dave Wadey, a friend of the artist and a member of the 1066 Harley Owners Group, who passed away suddenly at the age of 50.
The work has been donated to the Guide Dogs for the Blind to auction on eBay and raise further funds for their cause.
The artwork has already received 20 bids and is set to sell for a four-figure sum. The talented artist has won several awards, has been published in Artists and Illustrators Magazine and has shown in the Mall Galleries, London.
To bid, visit eBay and search for 331910293170.
