A QUICK-thinking bystander performed CPR on a young man who had collapsed in the street.
A man aged in his 20s collapsed in Moulsecoomb Way, Brighton, at about 8.30am yesterday morning [Tues] but fortunately a passer-by performed CPR on him in the street.
South East Coast Ambulance service has praised the bystander's "quick thinking and actions" which meant that the patient was breathing by the time that ambulance crews in two cars and an ambulance attended the scene.
The man was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital.
