ALBION’S unbeaten Championship charm has moved to calm nerves after deadline day drama.

Liam Rosenior has taken the first step towards recovery after suffering an ankle injury at Reading two weeks ago.

The senior professional has also issued what could be seen as a unifying message for the promotion chase.

Dale Stephens made it clear he would was hoping to make a move to the Premier League this summer with a statement realised via Twitter.

Kazenga LuaLua offered a rather more cryptic message via the same social media source, saying simply “disappointed”, which he later deleted.

It was unclear as to what exactly the winger was referring but the message appeared as the 11pm transfer deadline passed.

At the same time, many Albion fans were questioning the club’s failure to land a new striker.

Rosenior tweeted: “Op was successful. Delighted we’ve kept this special group together for another shot and added to the group with top quality players!”

He added: “Money helps but doesn’t guarantee success! Teamwork, spirit + quality much more important. This transfer windows been crazy. #nopanic #belief”

Rosenior is set to miss at least three months, his second lengthy injury absence since joining the Seagulls ahead of last season.

He made his first comeback at half-time at Cardiff last term with Albion 3-0 down.

They ‘drew’ the second half 1-1 and that remains the only defeat with which Rosenior has been involved in his 35 league games for the club.

He has not tasted defeat in any of 31 Championship starts for the club.
