THIS happy Snowdog is all about spreading positive thoughts.

Smart Vibes greets visitors as they step off the train at Brighton Railway Station and venture into the glorious city.

Luke Pink, known as the artist Pinky, said his vision was all about making people smile on their journey and the psychedelic colours and shapes are a trademark of his work.

He said: "It is all about positive ideas and a celebration of Brighton - which has a reputation for being positive and happy. Being outside the station is definitely the best place for the Snowdog."

A friend saw the call for artists for the Snowdogs by the Sea trail and urged the 45-year-old, who is based in Brighton, to submit a design.

He said: "I thought the trail was a brilliant idea and really fun. I'm so pleased to be involved."

Pinky also designed the front page artwork for today's Argus.

It follows his work for a similar project in Hull.

He also helped Middle Street Primary School - which his five-year-old son Cosmo attends - decorate a Snowpuppy which is on display in Brighton Museum and Art Gallery until Christmas.

  • Look out for tomorrow's Argus when another Snowdog's design will be celebrated on the front page.
