A MAN swiped two charity boxes and a man's wallet from a shop counter.
He appeared to distract the worker before taking the items, hiding them under his right arm, and walking out.
The charity boxes, belonging to St Mary and St Abraam Coptic Orthodox Church in Davigdor Road, Hove, contained approximately £10 in total, and the wallet contained about £120 in cash.
Yesterday police released CCTV of a man seen in Vega Express, Sackville Road, Hove, when the box was stolen at 7.26pm on Saturday September 10.
The man is described as a white man in his 30s, about 6ft 1in, of slim build, with short black hair and facial hair.
He was wearing a dark coloured trapper hat covering his ears, a red hooded top with a white zip, black shorts with a face on either leg, white socks and grey boots.
